Meet the Therapist

  • A woman with glasses and brown, curly hair stands outdoors near a tree, smiling at the camera. She is wearing a denim shirt over a colorful, floral-patterned dress, and has a small necklace and earrings.

  • As a passionate advocate for holistic well-being—and a mom of four—I bring both professional expertise and lived experience to my work. I hold a degree in Consciousness and Human Potential, a field that explores the science and psychology of awareness, and how mindset impacts health and transformation. With certifications in hypnotherapy and yoga, I blend ancient wisdom with modern therapeutic techniques to help clients tap into the innate power of the mind-body connection. Whether you're preparing for birth, navigating stress or anxiety, or seeking lasting personal change, my approach is grounded in compassion, presence, and the belief that healing begins within.

Curious About Hypnotherapy?

Common Questions I Hear

  • Hypnotherapy is a normal state of awareness where a gentle, guided process helps you access a relaxed and focused state of mind. This is the same natural state you experience when daydreaming, just before sleep, or when you get really engrossed in a great book.

In this state, the subconscious mind becomes more open to positive suggestion, insight, and re-patterning. Hypnotherapy works by quieting the conscious mind and allowing deeper levels of awareness and healing to emerge.

  • Hypnotherapy helps you access the subconscious mind, which is the part of you that stores automatic patterns, emotional memories, and deeply held beliefs. In hypnosis, your mind becomes more relaxed and focused, allowing you to work directly with those deeper layers where real change happens.

Subconscious memory is different from conscious memory. When an event is emotionally charged or traumatic, the brain can shut down the language and logic centers all together. This means it’s difficult, sometimes impossible, to just “talk it out.” Likewise, habits and patterns that have become automatic (like breathing or your heartbeat) operate beyond conscious control. Hypnotherapy allows you to access and re-pattern those automatic responses at their source.

For many people, combining hypnotherapy with traditional talk therapy produces the most powerful and lasting results by integrating both conscious insight and subconscious healing.

  • Hypnotherapy can support a wide range of goals, including:

    • Stress and anxiety relief

    • Sleep improvement

    • Breaking unwanted habits

    • Confidence

    • Birth preparation and postpartum support

    • Weight management and body balance

    • Parenting presence and patience

It can also enhance creativity, focus, and a deeper connection to self.

  • Yoga, hypnosis, and meditation share a lot of common ground. Like meditation and yoga, hypnotherapy helps quiet the mind and regulate the nervous system. The difference is that hypnosis is more goal-directed. Rather than observing your thoughts, you guide them toward desired outcomes. Many people who practice yoga or meditation find hypnotherapy a natural complement because it works through the same mind-body pathways of awareness and relaxation.

  • Stage hypnosis is designed for entertainment and focuses on suggestion under performance conditions.

Therapeutic hypnosis, on the other hand, is a consensual, collaborative process where you remain aware, in control, and able to remember everything that happens. The goal is not to make you do anything except to help you access your own natural ability to change.

  • Almost anyone can experience hypnosis if they’re open and willing. It’s not about control or power, it’s about cooperation.

If you’ve ever been completely absorbed in a book, movie, or thought, or used your imagination, you’ve already experienced a form of hypnosis.

  • Most people describe hypnosis as deeply relaxing, like being in a peaceful, in-between space where the body rests and the mind becomes open and clear. You might experience lightness, warmth, or gentle waves of calm.

You’ll be able to hear and respond to everything, and you’ll come out of hypnosis feeling refreshed, centered, and clear-minded.
